Youth policy was high on the political agenda of Southeast Europe in 2019. Following the example of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-27, new national strategies were developed in Albania, BiH and Montenegro.
The FES also published groundbreaking studies on the experiences and hopes of young people in Southeast Europe with a view to central socio-economic issues in order to create an empirical basis for policy-making that is oriented towards the needs of young people.
With the aim of depicting new youth policy impulses, this issue of Political Trends & Dynamics in Southeast Europe contains not only the regional organizations relevant to the political field (RCC and RYCO), but also voices of young scientists and politicians.
