that honors those who lost their lives at work is also a day that obliges all social partners and social actors to be equally involved in the fight for life!
Profit must not be above the basic human right to work in a healthy and safe working and living environment!
The process of transition to a healthy, safe and green economy requires a fundamental change of consciousness at all levels of society, serious investments in health and education of workers and employers, but also investment in nature protection from dirty industry, because we have no other planet. It is necessary to invest in modern technologies and insist on the application of regulations and control of law enforcement, with the strong participation of trade unions in the process of reindustrialisation and the recovery of society. The right to a safe and healthy workplace is a universal right of workers!
Trade unions in the EU and the Balkans, on the way to the EU, in cooperation with partner organisations of social and environmental movements, are fighting in solidarity for a constructive social dialogue, in order to achieve and improve safe and healthy conditions for decent work and life!
There are no jobs on a dead planet!
There is no healthy economy without healthy and safe workers!
